Anyone else feel this 2015 team will make a playoff run. Or is it just me. With all the holes being filled with some top talent and what looks to end up being a top 5 recruiting class. I don't know what it is, just feel good about this year.

You're not the only one but I won't believe it until I see more production out of the Qb position. The rest of the pieces are there IMO.

Like someone else said, it mainly depends on QB play. I've very skeptical on AJ having the ability to be that guy (but i would love to eat crow). Harris has to step up HUGE in the offseason.

You cannot count on incoming freshmen hype to lead you to a playoff run. Those players often need a year or more to either bulk up, learn the system, or adapt to the much higher level than what they are used to playing against (with the exception being WR, RB, and sometimes DB).

It helps a ton to keep Mills, Hawkins, and Alexander.

Loaded, definately the best defense in the Country. If L M can make the right adjustments in certain situations we can be very good.

L M has put together the b st recruiters in the Country, along with his personality I see this program having a top ten recruiting for years to come

It's as simple as tailoring the offense to BH. Jennings is incapable of leading LSU to double digit wins

doubt it. Next years team is 3-4 lose squad imo. Especially with no sign of a QB improvement.

Hopefully BH is QB, but regardless of who is QB, the only way we make a run at the playoffs and NC is based on how well our QB plays. We have awesome RB's, WR's, TE's, OL, DL, LB's, DB's, and special teams. We just need a QB to step up.

However, I think our D is going to be more than stout this year. We will win 10-11 games with average - below average play from QB. We win 11+ games or win out if our QB plays average+ - above average.

IMO...

Recruiting class is a non factor. Usually only 2 freshmen make an impact per year. QB play, monster running backs and OLINE are the key. We have 2-3 components at least.

Having problems facing reality? LSU's defense could possibly keep them in games [I'm still skeptical on Steele]. But LSU's offense has shown zero signs of being able to improve over the course of a season.

I project LSU will lose a minimum 2 out of the 5 SEC road games we play [Alabama & Ole Miss are clearly tough task. But Miss State & USCe will not be cake walks]

As far as the home schedule goes. I don't see LSU handling Auburn that well.

this. depends on who is running the offense, depends on how well the offensive line plays, it depends on our ability to be able to run efficiently, and we have to get off the field on 3rd down on defense. if we do all that we have a great want and desire to achieve victory, both in the regular season and in the playoff.
