Players off this Weekend

I follow most football players on Instagram and seems like today there’s a number of Tigers out of town either back home or in New Orleans or something. Seeing this I can only assume the Tigers are “off” this weekend.
Kinda disappointing in my opinion. Was hoping to hear that the players spent some extra time this weekend together, studying, rehabbing, and just bonding to hopefully build up some more chemistry and trying to overall.... ya know.... improve.
Can’t believe Coach O would give them the OK to head out of town during the middle of the season like this when there’s so much to work on, when it’s not a bye week...
Seems like a high risk to let these guys go home and potentially expose themselves to family and friends and possibly come back with COVID and be out next week.

I’m with you on that. COVID is a crock of crap but the SEC doesn’t think so and sadly the sniffles could potentially hold back players from playing so it’s another thing to consider.

Yes, they could be doing something to get better on their own but team practices are limited to XX hrs per week.

No problem at all with them having the weekend off, but it's a legitimate concern that quite a few could test positive when they return.
