the CPM is a prick and is overly hard on the players seems to only come up again when we're losing

I don't see it being so much of PM as it is players just giving up on the season. There is a lot of frustration down there right now. shite happens, and there is no magic fairy to fix it.

Players may have given up on coach. A certainty is that coach gave up on the players. Remember he choose them. Too often this year he (coach) gave up on games too early and let pitchers get shelled, then the team almost came back and in a couple of cases did come back and win. Pitchers should not get worse from one year to the next, but ours have, I blame coaching for that. Trey getting hurt hurt the team more than most realize.

Jesus, you people are pathetic. I love how some spout off that they know certain things from first hand sources, how it is the coaches fault or the players fault that they are under achieveing etc. Why weren't you people bitching last year? If you definitely know certain things about LSU baseball from first hand sources, then please provide a link so all of your know this and know that bullshite can be verified. When I went to LSU, the baseball team wasn't even given a second thought. The Box was lucky to have 50 LSU fans at a home game. I love how you kids spout off crap about the team and the coach being terrible and all. If any of you bitches can do a better job than either the team or the coach, then get your arse out there and show us how great you are.

This is the time it matters. No other games have meant so much to the season as the one that is being played tonight. Respect the Program in being the Defending National Champions!

that's such crap.

they don't have to like him, he's their coach. just so they buy into his program. if they didn't, they probably wouldn't be on the team.

The only thing more ridiculous than fans that get their feelings hurt over a coach who is "a dick" to a player is a player who gets his feelings hurt.

If we truly have an internal issue on this team based on Mainieri being too hard on his players, then those players simply have to go because they aren't tough enough to play a major college sport.

Personally, I think you are full of shite and that ought to hike up your skirt, sit back, and just watch the team play.

I don't think some of these people on the board even read what is the papers much less no what is going on with the team.

Just win baby, Win!

condon dreams of being like paul f. but he isn't even good at it. condon is better at trying to fight callers than he is at actually talking about real stories

Heard this rumor several times over the last two seasons and dismissed it but, starting to wonder if there is something to it considering the lack of enthusiasim being displayed.

Nobody seemed to complain during his first yr when he said he needed to get rid of the bad apples on the team. Guys were getting cut and quitting and everyone was saying how great it was to have a guy that meant business.

If condon is right it will be easy to see at the end of the season. Just wait and see if there is a mass exodus of players or not. Until then all is speculation.

Baseball is a funny game. When one player blunders, good "teams" will have the ability to rely on the other 8 players in the field to "pick them up" or make something happen to compensate. The lack of unity and cohesiveness erodes the confidence and that's why they seem to quit. No one stepping up to say "I've got your back"

Say what you want about Condon, but the ratings for his shows are higher than for other local talk shows. That, people, is the bottom line.

I don't give a shite who's feelings were hurt. Adam felt like blowing up his chest saying that PM being a douche to players isn't true. I came in to say they were.

then I also said if you can't take it as a player, find the bench.
