Meaning, there is nothing left to win as far as sec titles etc. use the rest of this year to get experience for players that will and want to be at LSU in 2021.
And time to search for new OC and DC right now Ed!
The two you have right now are a product of 20th century thinking and won’t get you back to 2019 form, EVER!!!!
Use this asterisk season to fire everyone and start over!!!

Our best players should stay obviously. They committed to us and deserve their shite at the NFL, but in principle I agree with you.
Start with coordinators and coaching. Then move to your recruits. Yes we will likely lose every game this year, but that too is likely with what we’ve got. The product stinks right now anyway.

Yeah, I dunno about that.
We have grown men out there who have been in the program for years looking confused...like Pop Warner confused.
Maybe we shouldn’t throw dudes just out of HS into the nonsensical system Bo is running right now.

If I shot a man in the head, and he died, why would you suppose he died? This is a rhetorical question, of course, but it illustrates what William of Ockham stated: that the simplest solution is the most likely.
LSU lost two dozen contributors from their 2019 team. They returned only three starters by the time some players decided to sit out. THIS is the reason for our struggles. There is no reason to go searching for other reasons. Like the theoretical victim of my gunshot, the reason for LSU’s demise is simple and obvious.
With this said, if you want to continue to look for reasons (sort of like looking for OJ’s wife’s killer) let me suggest some others that might amuse you:
1. Coach O got divorced, and it was really his wife who built the 2019 team.
2. Brady gave our playbook to all our opponents because O slept with his gf.
3. The players joined Scientology, and are spending their time planning for their removal.
Good luck with your ruminations.
