I know Dodies is a little too packed for big games and I wanted to try something new. Any ideas of where to go?

Do you not Eastwoods bro?

ETA: But for real. I had the same issue with Dodies. So packed and far out from Uptown for me so I found a bar on McKinney called Eastwoods that has LSU watch parties. Pretty cool bar. Not packed. About 20 TVs and a projector on with sound. They fly an LSU flag outside all day on game days. You should check it out. I know me and my friends are headed that way on Saturday to avoid the overly packed "official" bar Dodies.

I went to Dodies for the Troy game....havent been back since for obvious reasons. I have never been to Eastwoods, I need to try that but 504 grill is a good place to watch football. It's a NOLA bar so I'm sure it's got quite a few LSU ties even though it's not officially an LSU bar like Dodies. In fact, it's in the same strip center as the old Dodies used to be.

You should come to Eastwoods. It’s usually a good time. It’s uptown so the girls look better and you can easily walk to your next bar, if that’s what you’re in to.

Too far away for us uptown folk. It’s nice to walk to the bars and home after the game.

I have to go out and watch the game with my father in law, who also happens to be a Bama fan. I want to take him to the most uncomfortable place possible. Dodies sounds like a plan.

look ins locations Dallas

LINK

Dodies' will be the most crowded .... GET THERE EARLY, I'd say 1 hr AT LEAST

For a big game Sauced Wings in Allen usually has a decent group (about 30), but not nearly what Dodie's has.

I was looking at another poster mentioning Eastwoods ... looks interesting .. nice area -outside patio ??

might go and check it out

Yep. They have a nice outside patio with multiple TVs on and sound. It’s a Clemson and Kansas State bar as well and both of those games are day games so the whole bar will Be LSU. Inside and out. Really nice area.

You also may need to get to Dodies over an hour before the game to get a table. At Eastwoods we always go when the game starts and they have our section and tables reserved for us. A shite ton of TVs on the game.

Those aren’t in Dallas though... they need more than one location in Dallas proper

Definitely check out Eastwoods. I flip flop between Dodies and Eastwoods but have been going back to Eastwoods more lately.More TVs it seems like with a lot of room to move around. Good bar food which is all I really need.
