I agree Bradshaw should have started game two last year but Bradshaw doesn't have the intangibles that it takes to be a championship quality pitcher. This season matulus is going to surpass both Ross and Bradshaw in the rotation. As far as Bertuccini goes he may get us out of some tight spots throughout the season, but as I have said previously he is a gimmick pitcher who cannot go more than 2 innings before the other team figures him out.

You have no credibility. You need to say less stupid shite and spell the players' names correctly if you want to be taken seriously.

OK, you are working on getting the names right. Now start on saying less stupid stuff and you'll be on the right track.

Fortunately, as a late inning relief pitcher, he wont have to pitch more than 2 innings. But anyhow, there arent many college hitters who can figure out his stuff. If he has control of his pitches...he is almost unhittable...period.

Oh..and you arent very bright...

That's an interesting conclusion from a very suspect knowledge base. What intangibles are you speaking of? And how do you don't know he has them? And if you haven't seen them yet in him, how do you know you won't if he gets the chance to pitch regularly.

And, by the way, making the same spelling error regarding Chris Matulis' name twice in the same post is not a typo, it is ignorance and laziness.

Or it is called an iPhone keyboard kthanks. As far as Bradshaw is concerned I have experience from watching him pitch. That is all I can base it on. He isn't going to overpower anyone with his 86-88 mph fastball and his breaking stuff is mediocre.

you have to be encouraged with bradshaw's performance in the postseason last year

he may not be a dominant starter, but he doesnt have to be...i think he'll be very valuable this year whether its as a starter, long relief, or even closing games

That's the second time you've insinuated that one of the pitchers (on a defending championship team) isnt very good because he doesn't have an overpowering fastball. Since when do you need a big fastball to be a good college pitcher?

I'm also surprised that no one has pointed out that Matty Ott was a TRUE FRESHMAN last year.

In college you don't necessarily need a dominate fastball but you do need to be a spot pitcher something that Bradshaw struggled with.

I'm wondering if Matty eventually gets pulled from the Pen and moves into the #2 SP role.

I hope this doesn't happen, but I would not put it past PM if he doesn't have a dominant #2 by SEC play

i wonder about ott as a starter...his effectiveness dropped a ton when he was stretched out last year

obviously im sure hes being groomed to go longer this offseason, but still, id be a little worried

The guy is arguing Bradshaw doesn't have the intagibles. While he doesn't have a plus fastball he came on strong toward the end of the season when he was moved to a long relief role. However, I do seem to remember him starting a big must win game in the SEC tourney. Do we need to bring up his line from that game?

WTF is up with that why did a moderator take it down? I will say it again but if you read back plenty of people quoted it. I said Louis was extremely overrated and I don't think ott is the pitcher everyone says he is.

This is what he did in his one and only year. These are dominating stats. He collected ALOT of awards. If he has a bad year THIS year you could come back at the end of the season and say he isn't the "Lights Out" closer everyone thinks he is, but until he has a bad season, you saying he isn't the pitcher everyone thinks he is makes you look ignorant
