Despite the bitching and moaning done about it on this site, just like the coaching decisions the rant tries to make, it's not going to change a thing.

They need better pregame music. 2 1/2 hours of crap is too much. Also, the band shouldn't have to battle with the speakers for playing time. They finally just started playing at one point and it took an extra 10 seconds for them to cut the music off.

I'm good with "Louisiana Saturday Night" and I have no problem with them playing something when the band is headed down for half-time at the end of the second. But last night they started playing something when the band started "Hey Baby" and they were playing while the piped in music was playing. Not good.
So, in short, I have no problem as long as the band is unavailable but other than that, it should be totally up to the band to make the music in the stadium.

If the band is getting on the field for halftime or taking their third quarter break I think it is fine. It is either that or nothing. So I don't mind it.

Yep...I have no problem with the music...but I did notice this and thought it sucked. It took them way too long to turn it off too.

When the band is headed down for halftime, why cant they pipe in the chinese bandits, first down and second cheers, etc.?
And I did notice them playing while the band was playing one time.
