This happens every year . Who ever the coaches talk about the most during the off-season usually never live up to the hype.

I don’t know where you heard O raving about him all offseason but i listened to damn near every interview and he never raved about Webb. He did talk a shite load about BJ and Josh White though
I was surprised that Webb and Sampah weren’t spoken about more

I didn’t really mean it as a blanket statement for everyone that is mentioned throughout camp.
It just seems every year we hear about a couple that are lighting it up and never make an impact come the fall. J.giles and damone Clark come to mind .

He didn’t really rave about Webb as much as he did with other guys but it wouldn’t hurt to see Webb getting some snaps on the D-line

Webb needs a year in the weight room and gain about 15 lbs to hold up in the run game as a 4-3 DE. He’ll be fine. Not every player will come in ready like Stingley and Gilbert.
