Not sure for me. I think we've heard a lot of rumors abour RP. Not as much about MP. Obviously MP has kept his shite together or at least kept it undercover enough to get this far.

I think you are being quite naive if you think these things don't go on at college campuses around the country. In his case, he was a high profile athlete under a microscope and he was exposed for his transgressions.
I guess if you want to make it sound like just because the states have lowered their limits blah blah...................that its ok because everyone else does it, it should be perceived that way. We are entitled to our opinions.
The fact remains that he did it, was caught, and had to face the punishment.

It's a shame RP wasn't determined enough to do what's right.
I always wanted to see how our offense would operate week in and week out with him under center.

If he doesn't play in the SEC Championship game, who plays for us? He did some good things for us throughout the year.

Phelps is an Olympian though, kind of looked at as being very patriotic. Big different than a college athlete who many could not name around the country.

RP is the dumber of the 2. phelps didn't really cost himself shite. everyone will forget about all this when he goes out and dominates his sport once again. phelps puts in his work and then after he is done he decided to enjoy some pot. I see nothing wrong with it and it should be legal.
RP- didn't put in work while he was getting in trouble. also rp cost LSU 5 losses this season bc he is a shite head and failed a drug test for coke. It is pretty hard to fail a drug test for coke seeing that it doesnt stay in your system for long.
Rp is worse in the long run. he will end up being a fast food worker in lutcher or some shite.
Phelps has already made millions and will cont to make tons after he wins 4 more medals.

You know a lot of kids that were busted in counterfeiting schemes in college? Is your family in the mob? Did you go to Rutgers? If so, I'm sorry and you're right, I should never have argued with you, sir, and may your first child be a masculine child.
You also need to consider that Perrilloux wasn't an average college student. He was someone that was in school on a full ride that came with conditions, like don't snort coke, smoke dope, get implicated in a counterfeiting scheme, get arrested repeatedly, destroy people's property, skip meetings and practices, and generally be a thuggish dickwad.
Now if this was a run of the mill football player that did something that many of the other football players were also doing (say, going out many times a week and showing up hungover to class on occasion) and he got bounced for the team for that, then I would join others in the outrage.

Phelps smoked pot. Who hasn't, at least once?
The kid spends the vast majority of his life training EVERY SINGLE DAY, doing more physical work than any of us combined. If he wants to hit the bong one every other year, GO FOR IT

Perriloser was bad for the team. Phelps can smoke all the dope he wants if he can get 8 gold medals.
I like Jefferson better anyway.

Damn I guess the legislatures never thought of that one. You better call them up and remind them.

i've never smoked anything. nor will i ever. so not everyone has smoked pot.

however, it doesn't make me think any less of phelps.. now if it is an every day thing for him then i may change my opinion of him.. but who are we to truly judge.. heh..

Im not sure. Let's see,
Phelps - 8 gold medals
Perriloux - 1 SEC start.
Not sure, looks like Phelps handled his business a little better.

HUGE difference. Both were told their whole lives how they had unreal talents at their respective positions. Phelps was smart enough to develop that talent into greatness before he started doing dumb shite. Perriloux did his dumb shite and just expected the talent and opportunity to be there when he needed it.

Perriloux thought he was above the team rules and continued to cut classes and misse team meetings. Perriloux even said he never thought Miles would ever kick him off the team, even after being suspended twice.
Perriloux challanged Miles once to many times, and paid the price.

Perrilloux! Phelps messed only himself up. Perrilloux's actions messed up the team.
