All this the whole season

Is it deliberate?

16 out of 21 passes were behind the line of scrimmage

I get what he’s saying. Is he wrong? No. For sure the OL looked as lost or more than Nuss if they had to hold a block for more than a second. Curne was running in circles and Thompson got blown up a few times. Don’t even get me started on Davis.
Sorry, not sorry but this season has been a total shiteshow on offense and can’t be dumped in the lap of one person or position. 90% pass blocking grade is just as misleading as 18 for 21.

Where I see MVB as better RIGHT NOW compared to Nuss regardless of physical abilities:
1. it looks like MVB has caught up enough with the playbook to run the offense
2. He seems to have enough respect of his teammates that there’s not a drop off
3. He’s confident in himself

There’s more, but I tend to look at the mental aspect, which, being a former quarterback myself, is the most important quality to have.
For whatever reason, and I won’t conjecture here, Nuss has lost it from last year to this year. The things he did well last year have completely disappeared this year.
That’s between the ears, whether through coaching, worrying about an injury or whatever. It’s obviously snowballed and he needs to get his head on straight for the next chapter of his life, whatever that may be

The poor offense this year is a combination of poor Oline, play calling, mental mistakes, and poor QB play. Nuss is a different player than last year. You were kind but inaccurate to give him an Average rating on anything. He was below average at everything this year. He clearly couldn't throw with zip for most of the year. His mental game has been poor all year. It was suspect last year, but his arm strength compensated for some of it last year when he threw for 4k yards. That was then, this is now. He is done as a college QB. He might play next week, but I have lost faith in him with this team. It would not surprise me if he somehow makes an NFL roster, sits the bench for a year or two, then has his moments with a few good games. Maybe some QB guru can fix his mental game. He had elite arm strength when healthy.
