We are a legit top 10 program. That's undisputed imo. These coaches know our deficiencies and will recruit to them which are DLine and OL. One change that is certain and has been discussed by the coaches is the changing philosophy to go to bigger backers and DLine men. This is a Steele/ Orgeron trait and not the smaller version of the two Chavis preferred. They all know and we will start to stockpile talent on both ends like Bama. Please keep in mind that Bama not only recruits better but they also do a better job of recruiting their players to stay within the program longer. LSU had obviously had too many early detections combined with attrition, and poor evaluation. I truly like the coaching staff, but I do realize that Miles will not under any circumstances do anything different offensively to exploit Bama's weaknesses. Deal with it. The series will turn once Miles time is over. In the meantime LSU will be in the best position of any team in the conference much less the country to beat Bama in the coming years. I truly believe that. The Bama game now turned the fan base apathetic. That is clearly a sign of change on the horizon. Please do yourself a favor and ask yourself if you actually think any other program in the conference other than Bama is better than us. I believe this team has pride and will squek out a win over Arky. I think signing day in Feb will look more like a Bama class in the trenches going forward. That's what we need. Lastly, Peveto must go. Love me some tigers.

There is no doubt the coaching staff of Steele and Orgeron will get this turned around. Miles is a good coach and one hell of a recruiter. Look at the improvement in recruiting already with Steele and Orgeron. I'm not happy about losing to UA, but I'm certainly pumped in the direction that we are headed.

Everyone was kind of under the impression we were a year away coming into this year. LF had a break out Sept-Oct and that changed our view. We are young and very talented. We were 8-5 last year. We are a 10-2, 11-1 type team this season and border line playoff material. Next year we will be serious contenders.

Miles will still lose to Bama.

Think about it; Best line in the Miles era + best rb in LSU history and LSU still gets thrown around like a D3 school.

They will win a lot next year too, but just not against Bama. Les is just too stubborn to change things up.

And worst qb of Miles era last season and we had them beat until Vadals penalty. Don't get mico-focused on last Sat.

Eh. I don't know. People said the exact same thing about Auburn and Texas A&M.... Not so much.

Unless Steele and orgeron change our offensive philosophy it's a moot point.

Our offense does exactly what Bama wants. Run between the tackles with tons of beef in the box. Until adjustments are made on side of the ball as well, points will be very hard to come by vs them.
