I'm not so much worried about JD as a PLAYER. He made some plays this year that single handedly kept us in the game.

Unfortunately most of those plays were runs. Not passes.

What DOES worry me about JD is the ripple effect he has on this team.

He is not a good passer. And he tries to do everything himself.

The skill players aren't getting their share of the spotlight and ability to make plays when your QB takes the snap and then just looks to run, throw a come back route, or a 5 yard pass into the flat all day.

It ruins morale.

Which I think is what we saw throughout the season.

throw down the field, we are in great shape. Did not see much of that at all this season from JD5

we saw quite a bit of it during the stretch from the florida game to the arkansas game where he stopped going vertical and challenging DB's. he'd rather play hero ball.

It's a waste of a year to play JD again, he's not good as a passer.

The problem is we don't know if Howard is as good of a passer or if he has the mental part down yet.

Remember people wanted Nuss early this year (he's a better passer than JD, too) but was not ready to play QB.

Riiight. So LSU goes to the SECCG, JD led the team and he’s the best QB since Burrow

I've never said this.

But, if LSU loses it can’t be a JD problem-the team lost.

Did JD play defense & get dominated on LOS all evening?

So you want Walker and Nuss, and assuming Walker beats out Nuss and he portals out.

Walker (coming off major injury) and Collins is your QB room, neither have a collegiate snap.

Hmmm, glad you aren’t in charge of the program.

If JD returns, it’ll be a 2 QB system because Walker won’t be kept on the bench.

I’m not against playing both Walker and JD because it makes it that much tougher on DCs.

i could see it if walker is the QB and they use JD as a taysom hill like role with plays to use him as a pass catching style running back

but i dont think JD will be used as a true QB next year by any stretch

if daniels is on the roster, he's the starting QB in 2023.
