Hell, go back to 2000 and see where LSU dropped five in a row including having Houston sweep us at the Box and a loss to McNeese.

We all know how we fared in 2000.

LSU is 11-5 since the 2nd game against Southern

Clearly Southern took it out of us

Totally different game. This is probably the most irrelevant thing I have seen on here in a long time.

but i think there's still a point in showing that just b/c a team drops a game doesn't mean they aren't championship caliber and will fade away

Are our fans this terrible that we actually think we need to "show" that just because a team loses a game they can still win the championship?

Thanks.

I didn't realize that they were only 2 games back.

They're 3 games back, so not a very good shot, but mathematically, yes they have a chance.

You are correct. Swept at Kentucky then a 15-2 loss at home to SLU would have had the Rant in full retarded meltdown mode...and that season had a very happy ending.

I'm not sure I understand the point. Are you saying we slipped near the end of the regular season?

We went 6-3 in our last 9 SEC games after going 14-7 in our first 21, sounds like we kept up that consistent pace all season

im just showing to those with catastrophe syndrome that losing one game in a series near the end of the season doesn't mean the season is over (or that we have major flaws) as evidenced of how the 2009 team dropped one in each series of the final 3
