I was fortunate to be in attendance watching from the 40 yard line. Same level as the TV cameras in row 53. What a site, what a view I had. This entire weekend is something I will embrace and remember forever.

There is no way there is a better game day and game experience in College Football than this one hosted by LSU. ESPN, the weather, the tailgating, our fans, it was awesome in every way. The game was awesome, the fans/stadium - incredible.

All my non LSU friends said it was an unbelievable game to watch on TV. Many are envious of the "big stage" that LSU and Bama behold every year.

The loss was really tough, but what I took away from it was the appreciation of the competition between LSU and Alabama that makes big games big.

If Alabama wasn't #1 led by Nick Saban the former LSU coach, and LSU winning big the last decade, does this game have the kind of build up and National attention it carried? I think not. 10.2 Million watched on TV..that's unbelievable ratings. (USC vs. Oregon had 2.2 Million). The rivalry is taking on new heights because both programs are at such a high level. This is what is special and something we should embrace rather than "hate". I think it's easier on the heart when you look at this way. High level competition is special..

200k fans on campus! Are you kidding me? I just loved everything about the game experience except the slip screen. LOL! Truthfully, I am still hurting over it.

I love LSU and so proud of the program that brings me and all of us much joy. Part of being a fan is tough losses, and winning big games so sweet.

..."victory is what we play for"...Saturday,- we were the better team for 58 minutes. One bitter sweet loss for the history books

interesting comment on Tim Brown's radio show this morning on Sirius 91....

he said that Alabama fans better get used to Les Miles' coached teams playing absolutely lights out against them as long as he's at LSU....

LOL. Yes, because LSU has never beaten Nick Saban's teams before.

Do these people watch the games or remember history?

Just mentioned in another thread that we have our USC 79 game. It'll take a little more time but as it passes, we'll appreciate the game more and more.

I also compare it to the Fla 2007 game but that night LSU made the plays and went up by 4. Great games with great teams on the field. But I also remember this: Meyer promised the Gators would be back after that loss and en route to 08 BCS, Tebow made a promise after a fluke loss to Ole Miss.

I saw that.

and you are right.

Yes it sucks to have lost it like that

But I can take good out of bad. When I hear Wilbon on PTI say that LSU is THE BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL ENVIROMENT EVER

well it sucked to lose but the rest of the country finally starts to see what we have known all along
