I don't think it's crazy to ask face value

I would prolly go a little cheaper...but then again, money is no issue for me

Why not just wait till you get to the stadium? You will be able to get them for next to nothing.

they had to pay face value so why not try and get that? Oh I forgot unless its a big name opponent nobody wants to go to the games. Everyone wants football season to get here but then come time and fans get picky.

Nothing wrong with wanting. Getting? Different matter altogether.

Which I don't understand.

Paying thousands to watch LSU get held to a touchdown by Florida or paying face value to watch them score 40 on the Cajuns.

Unless you have a boner for Tebow, then I guess it's worth the cash.

They can stay at a tailgate and watch the game for free on TV with their food and kegs or they can drop $50 a ticket to watch ulala and pay for concessions inside of the stadium for an uninteresting game that most will bail on by halftime.

Those die-hard, passionate LSU fans. They're something.

I find it funny that people are crowing that they won't pay face value for the ULL game, are probably the same ones who bitch and moan about the prices of tickets to the Florida game.

Pretty much, TJG. FWIW, I sold mine for face value (because I will be out of town).

you do realize that this helps fund our program right? Sitting in the parking lot tailgating does zero for helping the athletic department.

I think LSU athletics would manage to scrape by without my $50

Why should I pay them face? When they sell their tickets for the Florida game do you think they will sell them at face? If they are going to try and get as much as they can for that game then I will try and get them as cheap as I can for this one.

I paid face value for 2 tickets. I work weekends and dont get to go to games often and I was able to get off fot this weekend so im going. I have noe problem paying face for them because thats what the person I bought them from paid for them. I do know that I could have got them at the game for less but I would rather buy them from someone I know. Thats just me.

The ticket has already been purchased by the person trying to sell the ticket. They have an asset that people are uninterested in purchasing from them at the specified price. LSU is not hurt if that person is unable to sell that ticket to someone else. They still got their money from the ticket holder.
