Since it is broken you probably would not be able to find the record for the 3 seasons previous to that nor the titles and bowl games won.
But now that brings us full circle and back into the Saban's players argument...whats the record without a roster filled with Saban recruits?

Since we have been trying to use logic and civilized discussion and not ad-hominem attacks- let me ask you this
How do you really find logic in stating that a player who was invited by Saban but has not seen him (leave alone be coached by him) is actually responsible for the program's success but not the coach who is heading the team?

So you were happy the Monday after the MSU game?

That didn't answer the question

You seem to think you are so smart, smarter than Miles yet neither of you bumpkins can read.
This is the 3rd time. I was happy 9 Mondays of the year. I will always be happy with 9-3. Thrilled no, happy yes.
Either learn to enjoy wins or you are going to be miserable for a long time. Miles is not going to be fired.
Your only hope is to actually pull for Miles and pray Michigan keeps tanking.

I was trying to find the logic in the question as to how they are Saban's players.
Even if that were to be proven true- we still have a range of logical fallacies
- denying the antecedent , begging the question and non sequitur -post hoc ergo procter hoc.

Its fricking late and I always start waxing philosophical and logical.

I'll be honest, I simply don't like the guy and will use any opportunity to convey that

As I had mentioned earlier - I want LSU to win. Miles is merely the current instrument for that.
My fear is that if we get rid of a coach (with his record) now - we might find it difficult to get a good replacement leave alone THE Replacement ( whomever that might be) and end up as Nebraska did after the Solich debacle - ignored and bottom tier.

people, stop with the "backing into the ncg" garbage
Agree. LSU beat like 6 teams in the top 15 final rankings that year lost the same amt of games as anyone of any significance, and the 2 games they did lose were both in triple overtime. Give me a break

Reality is reality dude!!! The point is it shouldn't have happen the way it did! There are football Gods!
But thats why its foootball baby!

I believe every team of consequence had 2 loses. Which of those teams wouldn't have backed in, in your opinion?
It amazes me that the people pointing to records sound so much like those posters that, to this day, still back Brady.
I would love to see a change, but I won't be disappointed if this coaching staff can turn it around. Things didn't look good this past season, but I believe there is less wrong than most on here think.
And it is certainly not that "Les is dumb" and "Crowton Sucks".

CRAP - I can't believe you ruined a good rantard thread with a C-C-C-Combobreaker of logic!!!!

I for one want miles gone. The penalties and the team not being prepaired is a direct correlation to coaching. On the other hand, miles does deserve too right the ship. I think he has earned that right. I know. I contradicted myself. I just think this years team wildly inconsistant. Look at RS for an example. You mean to tell me that an early enrolled player can't be taught 15 plays that he knows frontward and backwards. Coaching. Period. But like i said miles does deserver another year.

U r RIGHT!! Everybody had 2-loss and if it wasn't for us losing in OT we would have not went in but that shouldn't have happen neither and walk right in because we were the Best Team It took Teams losing in CG for us to get in!!!Everything had to fall right and it did which wasn't in our hands but its football
To the GODS

I'm convinced that some aren't necessarily as worried about the success of LSU as much as they are worried about winning the argument of Les Miles.
99.9999999% of the people in the college football sports world that aren't LSU fans feel that LSU got lucky as hell in 2007 and backed into the BCS game.
But once again, it's the redneck, short sighted, the world is a 1 by 1 square around my thick skull - type mentality. It doesn't matter that the rest of the world sees it 1 way. The rest of the world are "retards" to them.
Just amazing.

i think alot of bandwagon fans think they deserve perfection. Hey going undefeated in the sec is the exception, not the rule. Except for bama this year and tenn in 98. I think there have been 3 teams to go undefeated since 92. I know no football team is gonna bw run with perfection but the constant penalties and the not knowing where to line up is very annoying since we pay 4 mil a year to not have that type of play. Like i said i want miles gone, but i think he has earned the right to coach another year at lsu. All these knee jerk assholes with their blind hatred of miles don't know if we can get another highprofile coach. Atleast we know miles can recruit his arse off. Lets say we replace him with some up and comer and we lose our fence around LA. The fence around LA isn't garaunteed by anymeans. All i'm saying is watch what you ask for cause you just might get it. A worse coach than miles.
