PBP baseball scrimmage 10/6

Watching batting practice. Larson the real deal. Mitchell switch hitting. Good hitter but not showing power.

Will Larsen start? Or is this another Zeb Ruddell situation from last season? Tear it up all fall, but not enough room to crack the lineup.

I'd expect Pearson, Bingham and Kling to be primary starters. But Jay has proven that he will play new and young players if they go on a tear. So I really see Larson contributing especially if he keeps launching bombs over the fence.

Larson rated a lot higher than Ruddell out of HS for what that is worth. I think he will see his share of playing time.

This was the stats from Derrick Mitchell in the summer league a lot of the freshman played in. Some pop is there even if it isn't showing in BP.
