NO. he will be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd CB taken overall though as long as he stays healthy and doesnt regress

he would need a monster season and combine to end up in the top 3 picks overall just for the fact that CB's arent typically chosen there. example: charles woodson won the heisman over peyton manning in 1997. in the 1998 draft manning and ryan leaf were the first 2 picks

He is definitely first round material and one of only two or three other corners in college that have the physical tools he does. As an objective observer, PP had some excellent games where he completely shut down one side of the field and also was dominating in run support for a corner. However, he did have some games where he made some mistakes and got beat more times than you would expect with his reputation. I think most of that is from overagressiveness and we will see an even better PP next year.

ChaD Jones should have stayed. Would have had a wicked secondary next year.

Meh, any money this year is more than he'd get next year. There is either going to be a rookie pay scale, or no cap... either of which will earn him considerably less cash.

the guy is awesome but he'd have to have a huge year to go 1st, and I still dont see it happening, easily a 1st round pick, but cracking the top 3 aint easy...QB's and OL, DL is what goes there...

Let's wait and see what he does this year......My God why do some people build these players up so much...
Well it doesn't hurt that PP is building himself up that much. He was recently quoted as talking about being the #1 CB in the nation.

Al Davis does love CB's. he would take PP very high. BTW charles woodson went #4 to the raiders.
more than likely locker or mallet will go #1
