Von Miller decided to skip being a top 5 pick in the draft to go coach at Tulsa? Who's the idiot?

nacho24's occupation: Nacho preparation/distribution.
I think that says it all about this ranter.

The fact that PP7 has not tweeted about this saying it is BS is quite telling to me. I think LSU should be highly concerned.

Lyles may have asked for money. That in no way implicates PP or LSU.
also known as the Cam Newton defense
we should all sign a card for Cecil

Yeah this really isn't much different than Cam Newton. LSU could potentially be in a massive amount of trouble.

my bad. I didn't mean von miller. The coach. slip of the tongue.
IDIOTS. This is what the article said...
Malone is the recruiting coordinator and defensive secondary coach at University of Tulsa.
This is what OP posted...
Malone is an assistant coach at Tulane University.

This story has one issue that is massively different that Cam. The story did not involve PP7's father working in connection with the agent.
But I do agree with the potential "massive amount of trouble" LSU could be in. We are still being investigated for giving improper benefits to another player!

do you really beleive that LSU is as clean as a whistle champ? not trying to flame here but it is very plausible.... it happens EVERYWHERE

This is common practice. It is not something new.
There are several recruiting services that sell their services to major universities.
LSU pays $6000 to a recruiting service for a DVD of various highschool players. In return, the recruiting services try and steer those athletes to the schools that pay them.
It's no different than when a company pays a trade publication for advertising, and magically gets a nice story written about their company in the next issue.
Now, what does the recruiting service do with the $6000? LSU doesn't care - as long as our hands are clean, we don't ask any questions.
In Oregon's case, the recruiting service likely developed a relationship with Seastrunk.
Then one of two things happen:
1. Seastrunk gives them a list of colleges he would attend for a $10,000 bonus. The recruiting services tells Oregon they need $25,000 for "video" or "consulting services". Oregon pays the $25,000 legitimately. The recruiting service gives Seastrunk $10,000 and pockets $15,000.
2. The recruiting service pockets the whole $25,000 and steers the kid to Oregon.
Regardless, its done every day. It will be difficult to pin any of this on LSU or Oregon. This is America, for gods sake. Money rules and we figure out every possible way to get around the rules and technicalities.
LSU should be applauded for gaming the system well.

I agree but then is it very plausible that they are clean?

being clean nowadays means not getting caught

Really??
You see no difference between a dad's possible extorting of funds and that of a street agent???

That's not an explaination...that is an accusation.
Let's try a more specific question. Why did the recruiter fail to report the violation of the street agent to the school or head coach? This in itself is a violation.
That is one reason the story does not make sense. The accuser's actions (or lack thereof) indicate that he does not have much integrity in the first place.
