he is the biggest reason we are 4-0. His offence is better than OUR offence. This is great publicity and great for LSU, any inkling of dissappointment in PP misses our inept offense.

no shite, I don't get the penalty. Isn't the Heisman pose about football? Weren't they playing football? The yellow flag is the pussification of football.

I'm generally against that kind of display, but I think I am so much of a PP fan that I actually loved when he did it. I like the dark horse idea of a defensive guy getting the Heisman.

He said in a postgame interview last week that if he had made it into the endzone against MSU he would've done it then. Miles and staff had to have been aware of it. If they really had a problem, they would've put a stop to it with some serious consequences.

I haven't heard post-game interviews yet, but I didn't get the feeling that he got benched from returns. He was in for the next return.

So, I guess what you're saying is that with all that LSU firepower we have at our disposal to score at will, we didn't really need those fifteen yards anyway?

If we win the game by 21 points everyone here is celebrating the pose.

I personally enjoyed seeing it. The defense did their damn job and that really didn't play a factor in the game. Yeah that got an extra 15 yards in field position, but our defense last night was stout. If the offense could move the ball with the field position they had all night this game should've been a blow out. I say let PP have his glory b/c he is the only player that has even come close to any Heisman talk. shite he deserves it b/c he is keeping us in every damn game.

He's good. He's fun to watch and he deserves all his accolades he's receiving.

I agree with this poster....

oh jesus guys get the stick's out of your arse's. These are 18-22 year old kids. They are having some fun. Isn't that why you watch it, for enjoyment?

my god LSU fans can't even smile anymore unless they have a crystal football. sad.

Not that it justifies the action, but WVU did punt on the next possession. Of course, we ended up with the ball at the 15 or so.

It might be a team sport, but only thing that really matters is this....we are 4-0 with PP and likely 2-2 without him....I'm more disappointed in the other stupid penalties we made tonight than PP bringing a little attention to himself. It is sad that Desmond could do it 20 years ago and people laughed and loved it, and now days it frowned upon. Goes to show how stupidly uptight and PC we have gotten nowadays...that is the real travesty...

Which is what we should've won by if we had any type of offense that could move the ball.

I'm finished with this thread: have his fun, he deserves it, the return won the game. Most of ya'll are missing the point, its a team not an individual individuals don't win championships, teams do, who's next to pose: maybe Jasper should strike the Lou Groza pose to get the countries best place kicker award

Heisman pose is not taunting and only uptight assholes had a problem with it.

I agree. It's ridiculous that we cant have fun playing sports anymore because we have to walk on pins and needles trying not to offend someone. These guys are men. Some older than others, but it's not pop warner where everybody plays. These guys are recruited to play. He didnt take his helmet off and try to hit someone with it. He struck a pose.

Bingo!! Come on guys he is by far the best player we have. He never does crap like that. I didn't like it but give the kid a break. He got caught up and I bet it never happens again. PP is one of the most humble players I have seen. I think he deserves a pass.
