No debate here. The best ever at LSU by the time he's done.

The thought of possibly returning the entire secondary next year for the first time in a while with craig loston in the mix makes me wanna rock, cry, take a drink, and dance all at the same time...

Let's just come together and hope we do whatever it takes to get our offense on track to make this a complete team because we here a lot of talk about USC being the most talented team, but we are definitely one of the most talented teams this year here and now, let's hope we start playing like it.

I think he's better in coverage than Peterson. But Peterson is far and away the best contact CB in the country. The majority of OLB and SS would have trouble taking down Tebow in the open field. Peterson did it twice.

I was going off Dandy Don's information from one of his recent updates. I thought chris hawkins had one more year of eligibility left, if I'm wrong I stand corrected.

But some are still saying we should still have the best secondary in the country next, even though I hate it when they do this because it almost never shows after they say it. This too, was according to DD, maybe I should be more careful using his information lol.

Peterson is easily one of the top 3 corners in the country. He doesnt get beaten often in coverage and he plays the run like a beast. He never gives up and is the quintessential competitor.

He will be remembered as one of LSU's greatest players.

Anyone remember the one-on-one take down of Tebow?

I can't lie I was nervous when I saw Tebow rolling out to the left, but PP proved to me how fearless he was. Not a lot of CB's would have accomplished that attempt.

Does anyone know how we look depth wise at that position, does the future look bright past 2010 as of now, or should we be worried?

And, as heard as it is for a DB, do you think he is good enough to be mentioned in the Heisman talk when the team overall is playing better before he leaves LSU?
Yes if he gets offensive snaps he will be in the chase.

My best guess is next year its:

CB -

Peterson
Eugene
Brooks
Claiborne

FS -

Jones
Loston

SS -

Taylor
Hatcher

Hey Antonio moss, what do you know about claiborne?

I hear great things about him, but I don't remember seeing him play much.

some corners are big and physical. others are lightning fast and extremely athletic. patrick peterson is both which makes him the best

He wowed the coaches since day one. He's played a little so far. Big, athletic kid. May turn out to be a recruiting steal like Lafell.
