Back when LSU was researching ways to improve post game traffic, one of the ways that was recommended was to increase the paid parking. The thinking was that this would help to reduce the total people around LSU on game day by eliminating some of those people who were only there for tailgating and not going to the game. Just a little FYI for those wondering why there is so much paid parking now. (Obviously a fringe benefit is increased revenue). One other solution I've heard is to only allow vehicles on or near campus who actually have tickets to the game. Not sure what radius around campus would be used.

The part about having to have tickets will never happen. People by tickets outside the stadium all the time.

Paid parking is stupid. It's a money grab. Traffic is stupid because they have cops not doing shite getting paid to watch traffic.
