Was it like that way in College? Did you "dress up" in Rebel garb during the LSU game, or were you decked out in LSU gear? Do you pull for Ole Miss in any other games? Also, let's say LSU is playing Nicholls State and Ole Miss is playing Georgia at the very same time, who are you watching. This is just interesting to me. I thought that you would pull for Mississippi overall.
LSU all the time.
I wore red and blue ties as a pledge though and I certainly went to games and sat in student section.
Vs lsu I wore LSU colors and had a purple tent in the grove.

So since that Ole Miss dork gave awful recommendations, unless you're 18, can we hear where mid 20's to early 30's should find themselves eating and drinking while watching the game?

From the OP, Oxford looks absolutely lame as shite
Thanks for validating my decision never to make that trip as a student.

There's nothing wrong with that. You become a fan of your ALMA MATER then, when it comes to college sports.

Grow up inundated with LSU for 18 years, spend 4 years at the college you choose.......

I disagree. Your actual Alma Mater should trump all when when it comes to college fandom.
I know some others think differently. I don't want to fight people that do so, or anything. I just think it's lame and I stand by that.

How much passion can you really have if you chose to go to a different SEC west school?

What you're describing makes less sense than what you're arguing against. I'm fairly sure you can see that too.

I agree. It's a formative life experience. Much more so than thinking it's neat to cheer for LSU as a 10 year old.
I wouldn't have gone to Ole Miss by the way. But, if you CHOOSE TO DO SO and don't embrace that as your Alma Mater, then what's the fricking point?
