Starting about 2010 LSU began filling dean and higher admin positions with complete incompetents to fill the slots vacated by the good people hired away by better universities. About the same time the Systems Building started filling up politically connected recent graduates.

Well our optics suck, and our “PR” dept is worst in the NCAA. Remember that time Fla cancelled a football game, and we not only looked like the villains, but gave up two Return trips back to back to play them there? I do.
