I'm not arguing that, the rule clearly says as much. But that foot is only out of the batter's box if the entire foot is out. That is what I was saying and I think (hate to guess what someone else meant but I seem to do it all the time ) the guy that originally mentioned a toenail was talking about both feet but I may be wrong.
