Who do you like most and why? Also what back do you think will be "the" next back of LSU.
I like them all because they are Tigers and they all bring different looks and we will remain 'rbbc' as long as Les and staff keep recruiting the way they do.

1. Michael Ford- I don't see how you could argue against him after the spring game and in limited opportunities this season he has showed HUGE potential.
2. Alfred Blue/ Spencer Ware- I like both of these backs a lot but I think that both will be surpassed by Hilliard once he makes it on campus. Think about the past good backs at LSU they're all about 6' 220-235...Hilliard is already there.
3. Jakhari Gore- This guy is interesting, he doesn't fit the mold of prototypical Miles RB. Gotta love the genes though.
4. Brandon Worle- Hopefully becomes a good fullback.
5. Connor Neighbors- ???

Can't stop LMFAO at this. You don't move a 225lb 5 star RB to the slot because he caught a couple passes. If anyone moves to slot it's Gore.
Wasn't Josh Reed (5'10" 210 lbs) a "slot type" receiver? Seemed to work pretty well for him.

Anybody but Blue. I saw him in high school and I am still not impressed at all. He reminds me of Murphy with his upright style and that is not good in my opinion.

Rantard response-- It doesn't matter, they are all better than Ridley and would each be up for Heisman contention.

Ware. I love how he catches the ball out of the backfield. We see him alot when Lee is at qb also. Gives our offense more of a pro styled look with the two in there.
Also, he wears 16, the number i wore in HS

Watch more football if you think there's anything similar between Reed and Ware. And regardless of what Wikipedia says, Reed was never 210 at LSU. Ware is also already 15 pounds heavier as a freshmen; they're not even comparable.

Ford. Period. That 25-yard run you saw against Florida would be a regular occurrence if he had more touches.

Him starting will suddenly make the OL open up gaping holes? Good to know...

Talk football talk, not TD high school trash talk. Ford has great cutback and vision. Any back would have gained about 10 yards on that play, but he turned it into a 25-yard gain. Watch the play again. And I never said anything about him starting. Ridley has earned the starting spot.

1. Ford has tremendous vision and runs hard.
2. Ware has showed a lot on his limited opportunities. He has great hands, and he will run well if when he gets carries.
No one else has really impressed me all that much, but then again, I haven't seen much of Gore and Blue has had trouble. Any way, the future is bright for our backfield.

Man I wish more fans knew what they were talking about. That play was a designed cutback just so you know. It wasn't anything Ford did, it was the design of the play. You can see it here at 2:20 if you don't remember. There's not a single RB on our team who wouldn't have picked up the same amount of yards. Some of the RBs on our team also wouldn't tripped up and tackled themselves.
Look I'm not trying to denigrate Ford but the love for him on this board is absurd.
Better?
