It may lip service, but it sounds like Sale and Loving are much better than your average walk on.

Then they wouldn’t have come here.

This is Coach Os 2nd full season and we are sitting here with most likely 2 unproven scholarship QBs, no depth on the O line no bell cow running back to speak of like we’ve had year after year. Wasn’t O given the head coach position to bring this program out of mediocrity? He’s taking this thing a step below where Miles left it. Ensminger was a disaster of a OC hire. I just don’t get it. Somebody pump some sunshine for me. I just want to kill myself.
In the 2009 season we had 4 QBs on the roster (if you leave Russell Shepard out, which we should).
3 So.- Lee (after pick-6 year), Jefferson and WO TC McCartney
1 Fr- Chris Garrett
We're currently sitting at 4, 2 So, 1 Fr, and 1 Jr. 2 of them are transfers.
It is anything but ideal. But it is not the apocalypse either. Nor is it unusual. It is becoming, and will continue to, more common with the loosening of transfer rules.
Lessons Learned (IMO):
- don't recruit two in a class, they will always be eyeing the fact that only one will start and one, or both, will mentally have 1 foot out the door.
- Play your freshman, today's sophomore is yesterdays Junior
- Recruit for your offense. If they don't "fit" what you are doing chances are, it will be a lost scholarship.
