Their non-conference schedule was a joke. LSU led the nation in ERA before they got into conference play against better competition. Those relievers don’t look quite so imposing if you look only at conference stats. Ben Ferrar is at 3.38, but he was a guy they started the last two weeks and he got roughed up. They have 2 other guys right around 4.00 and one at 4.30. That’s still more than LSU has, but it’s not necessarily enough bodies to make up for a lack of starters.
