This is not about saban. This is about CoachO becoming a Louisiana legend by taking down the evil empire.
This is about stopping the Louisiana kid pipeline to Alabama.
This is about assembling the best staff in college football. Not only a staff of good recruiters but great teachers.
This is about LSU standing firmly on top of the cfb world.
Saban is the main piece that holds the enemy together. I believe that Coacho has infiltrated the enemy with his buddies from USC to take them down.
This has been in motion since 2014.
Just my opinion.

doubtful. And here's why: I've become convinced, against my own bias and self-denial, that most of the CFB world does not see LSU as in a tier to warrant such moves, devotion, or bridge burning. Not Coach O, not Alleva, not wins and losses... the brand and mystique is not there.
No swag. No reputation. We are run-of-the-mill. Average. People don't take career risks like that for average. You don't spurn a job for Elon Musk to work for the same position at Dollar General.
