Not sure what it is you're comparing,

I was comparing wins. Other stats are significant, of course, but wins are the #1 stat for me.

For instance, Haskins at OSU broke 3 passing records (attempts, completions, and passing yards) in his 49-of-73, 470 yards effort against Purdue. But lost.

If it's purely offensive success you're comparing, then O has much work ahead to displace Miles in the record book also.

It's a pretty low bar, it will happen

Not if you are focusing on offense.

My focus is seeing LSU get to the playoffs. Would be great if Burrow and the offense break a bunch of records (I think they will). But offense stats won't mean much if the team fails to improve in the W/L column - just my opinion.

Well besides all of that, we still had the longest sustained stretch of success in LSU history under his watch.

This was a lot more edgy and funny in your head.

YPG and PPG aren't dependent on quantity of games, but doesn't stop the worst offenses ever narrative.
Must be a mistake in the Media Guide.

“ They said that they had 30% of the offense installed”

They also said the OC who produced the 8th best offense in the SEC and one which scored less points per game and averaged less yds per game than our offense in 2015 did, had done a “great” job.

Color me not convinced until I see it against Tex and the SEC.

The team should be a lot better this year and is the year I’d say O can and should be actually judged on. He should elevate the program if he’s the coach of the future.

If he stays at 10-3 /10-4 then LSU should start looking around imo.

Well considering where Joe Brady came from and him being he passing game coordinator, there’s a good chance they have watched some Saints film.

That’s great. Will he have the gonads to use any of this on game day in a meaningful situation? History says no.

This will be Orgerons 3rd year, Ensminger second and Brady's first

Quite the history for you to draw upon

Man the offense he's said he wanted has changed so many times I can't keep up.

same here. Plus with all the experience from last season and with who all else is coming back, combined with what they are doing with the offense, I'm really looking forward to next seasons offense.
