He was interim coach in 2016 so start being honest please.

I’m aware of that and I wasn’t dishonest about anything.

So if any loss when he was the interim is deemed,”well he’s just the interim” but any win is gladly accepted and “he knows how to coach.” Is that right?

Again, I’m referring to just the Bama game.

No wins or losses come with an asterisk. It has to be that way.

That's just super. You think we only lose by say, 24 this year?

That's an improvement, headed in the right direction as you'd say.

The fact that you can't say with certainty that we'll be competitive is damning. We'll be closer than last year, great.

I understand. But it sounds like you've already written it off and feel "we're not closer". which is strange

To beating Alabama, no I don’t. You’re correct there.

So petty to include the current head coach in that. You’re right

Do you intentionally misunderstand or misrepresent what I say? You act like you want to have a conversation then post idiotic stuff.

The Troy thing is baffling. Some of them love to throw it up like it's relevant or something.

I 100% agree it’s long past time to get over it. It was a bad loss at the time. To Os credit they bounced back. All coaches lose games, shite happens.

Some of it is just the nature of these forums but some of I think you can blame on Ree. He makes the same argument about other coaches especially Herman before the hire was made. He railed on Herman for losing to SMU and Navy as some disqualification for him getting the LSU job, never mind that those are teams in Houston’s conference so it’s not surprising that some will still beat the dead Troy horse

Based on returning talent and experience you're expecting the same result as last year?

We have the talent to be 11-1.

I’m leaning more towards 10-2. Which would be an improvement from last season.

I'm perplexed as to why you think talent and experience was the primary reason for that horrible performance when several lesser teams had better performances vs Bama than we did.

Coaches being outcoached seems to be a foreign concept to you.

Do you honestly think that citadel is a better school than LSU?
