A statement to express or elicit information. That’s literally the definition of question.

WTF is this bird brain going on about? I don’t even want to get into ithe differences between questions and interrogatives with him.
This is the typical rabbit hole these guys like to go down rather than recognizing that LSU’s future looks brighter than it has in a while. (See fact versus opinion quagmire.)

I don't know but the poor thing is having problems keeping up. I'm trying but I can't be everywhere at once so somebody else might have to help him.

You can ask me. I asked Ben if he’s ok with O losing to Bama since O has been the head coach?
He asked,”how did you get to that conclusion?” to which I responded,”I don’t have a conclusion, that’s why I asked for your thoughts on the matter.”
Long story short, he didn’t answer and kept saying I made a statement and didn’t ask a question regarding his thoughts on that specific thing.
So I joked with him about the definition of a question.
That’s all.
I was genuinely asking him.
