Orgeron and LSU showed last season that LSU could beat the good teams again. For bleep sake we finished 6th in the country.

It seems other reports plus some of what we saw in spring practice strongly suggest the offense will be different.

I can take this quote and apply it to the last 4 off-seasons.

This is exactly my point. We hear this same song and dance EVERY off-season and yet the offense comes out and massively underwhelms.

This coaching staff has given us zero reason to believe they are telling the truth this go around.

Am I hopeful the offense will turn around with Brady at the on staff? Absolutely.

But I was also hopeful with Canada.

I was also hopeful when Orgeron said Ensminger was going to bring a new offense. But guess what? More of the same.

So yeah, based on past claims and on the field performance by this coaching staff, people have NO reason to believe Orgeron.

He is 0-3 against Alabama and he has been on the LSU staff since 2015, but keep pushing that second year on the job crap.

He is approaching his 4th year.

The sample size is irrelevant.

First year after interim, we are bringing a new offense. Orgeron meddles, OC gone.

2nd year after interim, he claims Ensminger is one of the best OC's in the country (lol), offense still underwhelming.

3rd year after interim and we are just supposed to believe that Ensminger is just suddenly going to become some offensive Guru? Come on.

I hope they get it altogether. But I'm not going to just ignore the past 3.5 years and get all emotional over the same lines we've been getting as fans every year.

What happens when/if the offensive struggles again this year? Is it "but but but just wait more years"?

Again, want me to believe what Orgeron is saying? Let me see it on the field. Enough of the empty half truths.

My bad, I thought the goal of the program was to win the WEST/SEC/National title.

But yeah, being #6 and beating an overrate UCF team that we were supposed to beat is a great moral victory.

9 win regular seasons are not what this program is after.

Expectations should be 10 regular season wins minimum with the talent and resources this program has.

If he goes out and goes 9-3/8-4 and gets embarrassed by Bama again, there needs to be a discussion about whether or not he's the guy for this job.

Beat a good team.

In the biggest game of the year they couldn't have come up smaller.

I don't care what you do. I'm willing to bet that it'll be whatever you can do to show O in a negative light. It's what you do.

You act as if he’s only been a head coach for two years and we need to let him establish a track record. The fact is he has been a head coach for going on seven years and we know how he operates.

Denial that nothing us like last year at this time

It's just another rantard fantasy. We had no clue who the QB would be and the staff wasn't promising great things

quote:

I think you've all seen tonight what I've been talking about with all the quarterbacks," Orgeron said. "Sometimes, they're doing well. Sometimes, they're not.

quote:

"It's been up and down the whole spring," Orgeron said. "But overall, I think Justin just had a good night. The theme for the summer will be execution."

How is that similar to this year?

So because O says something different this year, that makes it different now?
