A guy on their insiders board is saying QB Darron Thomas was the other passenger in the car.

The chick said Cliff's friend, who she didn't know was a football player, showed her his license in order to borrow the car. There is no way in hell a UO employee doesn't recognize the face and/or name of Darron Thomas.

I'll tell you what's worse, her having the knowledge to say that she has bank stmnts ready to prove they repaid her.
Sounds like she knew what she would need and how to do it BEFORE they made the deal.
But, this sure shows intent and knowledge beforehand that the act was suspicious.
NO WAY this was the first time she help a player. NO WAY! She is lying about something. SHes saying they are "just friends" with no relationship but she didn't know his license was suspended. Then she did cause she checked the friends ID and didn't know he was a player?
As said before, there is so much FAIL in their story, it's gonna be speculated to death until the truth comes out. The NCAA is gonna be in OU's arse very soon.
You don't think USC and ALL of it's media base is gonna pressure the NCAA to find out wtf is going on here? I'll bet ESPN has a truck stationed on campus as we speak.

Based on the riddle of holes in that chick's story, I'm guessing she's not the brightest bulb in the pack. UO will have to take some sort of punitive action to avoid the big hammer down the road.

Current athletes shouldn't be allowed to do interviews like this anyway. The university's SID had to confirm the interview so shame on Oregon more than Thomas.

I couldn't agree more. There is definitely shite going down. Not saying anything will come of it, because the NCAA is stupid as frick... but something definitely stinks in Oregon.

Chip may suspend him for a game and I guarantee you it will not be against LSU... it will be one of the 8 cupcake bye weeks UO has.
