Chad Jones and Peterson are HANDS DOWN first teamers (Peterson should be 1st or 2nd team All-American). Although Ciron Black should not have even made first team. Hodge had good numbers, but Mccluster was a much bigger threat on that team, and often lined up at WR.

So which LT played better than Ciron this year? He probably didn't have his best year but still played good all-in-all. So unless there's a LT who played better he should be 1st team.

Where is all the LSU "talent" we have heard about for so long???

Which should have nothing to do with anything. PP is the best CB in the country. The best player should get the highest honor.

Like Michael Jordan so eloquently stated in his hall of fame speech, things like this should only add wood to the fire burning inside PP.

It may be a hype contest, but doesn't it say something about LSU this year that only one player made 1st team? And a dubious choice at that (Ciron Black).

It’s hard to gauge a DB with stats, but arenas isnt even listed on the NCAA Passes Defended stat sheet. Peterson is tied for 8th with 13 passes broken up and 15 passes defended. Peterson had a TD on a pic, Arenas didn't. Ironically the only stat I can find where Arenas tops Peterson is INTs. Arenas had 3, Peterson had 3. Wait, no. Never mind. Officials say Peterson only had 2.
