In a few weeks the bitch thread will be about CBS forcing day games and how you only got to go to a couple of night games. (But you blew off the NW game.)

We can go back to the good old days when LSU sucked, nobody cared to move their games to afternoon TV time, and the Tigers had a good chance of losing to the out of state creampuffs that they used to schedule.

LSU's schedule is built for national championships. Go to the games, don't go to the games, but don't blame the schedule for your unhappiness.

There were visibly empty seats along the sidelines and in the upper decks. I believe it.

I'd be very interested to know how many times LSU actually breaks 90,000.

I remember hearing the numbers from 2008 back then and it was surprising. I don't remember the figures, though.

Obviously 92,000+ last night is the paid number. Some of you guyz be dumb.

Yes. As I recall, many of the gold chairs in the East upper were empty.

Nobody's claiming the place was packed to the rafters. But anybody who was there can tell you there weren't 12.000 empty seats. The OP still hasn't provided a link to back up his claim of 79,000 actual attendance.

A lot of people are posting 92,405 as the actual number. They should know how football attendance works by now.

It was Northwestern State, a second tier college football program that most major high schools could probably beat. I didn't go either because it would have been a gargantuan waste of time.

If L.S.U. just has to play a state school to open the the season in Tiger Stadium, then at least do so with one of the two that we have some sort of rivalry and hate with like Tulane or U.S.L..

What better way to open the season than to beat the hell out out of the Greenies or the
"University of ( ) Louisiana"

Northwest Louisiana, McNeese or La.Tech, not so much.

You guys are aware LSU, like every other team in the SEC and beyond, are not going to play top level teams every week right? That some weeks are against lesser competition? It's still ok to come and watch the team you supposedly pull for, and enjoy watching some live football on a Saturday night. Not every game is going to be '07 Florida.

Stop being an idiot. I wasn't going to spend $500-$600 on this weekend to drive in from fricking Houston to watch a game that was going to be over at half time. It's not worth it.

THIS. And Florida '97 >> Florida '07 (among others)
