Checked roster earlier this morning and we had three left handed pitchers.
Just checked again there's only two.

PM must have dropped the Louisiana kid.

Wasn’t he a walk on?

Roster scholarship restrictions are a royal pain in the arse

This is not true. There have only 2 listed for several months now.

Who cares if he is right or left? If he can through 95mph and have good mechanics that’s all that should really matter in college

The third lefty McMurray quit the team back in the fall
The walk on lefty Lag is his nickname is battling for a spot as #35, he will have to earn it but I'm guessing PM will give him a one year to earn it and if not, he will likely be replaced if no room on 35 for next season
He threw in the intersquad on Sat

McMurray transferred to a California JUCO before the fall started to play football. He's given up baseball altogether due to his shoulder.

Kendall Burnett was the third lefty. He was removed from the roster some time after fall practice. He was a transfer from Pacific, but didn't play there. He seemed to be performing worse than the two walk on LHPs in the fall.

The third lefty is Michael Lagarrigue, #57, out of Fountainebleau High School in Mandeville. He was on the roster handed out two weeks ago at a Coaches Committee meeting although he's still not shown on the roster on LSUSports.net.

That's why the coaches and other players call him "Lag."

A hard hitting theologian has the same name. Some of his books are very dry. Like eating vegetables. You profit greatly if you can digest it, but nasty as **** trying to eat.

Yep, one under the limit (34) on the roster. It was at 35 a week ago. Other names gone since last year include Ripoll, Brock Mathis, Threadgill, and McMurray. Freshman from Vicksburg (Farmer ??) left the team after being suspended in Fall.

Know the kid well, literally quit EVERY single team he played for except one. That one happened to be managed by his father. Not coached, but he was the team manager.

He quit 2 high school teams, quit 5 travel ball teams. My son was a year ahead of him in age group so he didn’t play with Kendall but he was well known in the baseball community in SD.

I was actually shocked PM gave him a spot, one of the softest kids I have seen. As soon as someone gets a hit, there goes the inning!

Now when he was on he could command the plate, but those were few and very, very far between. He actually played up a couple times on my son’s travel ball team and got lit the f*ck up when he pitched.

Oh damn. Thank you for that context. I think he was brought in just because we really needed LHPs and he was an available transfer option.
