One thing about Kelly’s teams here, they always improve

It’s extremely frustrating how LSU starts every year under Kelly. It leaves us with no room for error as the season goes on. But you gotta give him and the staff a lot of credit for the improvements every single year too. If we could just bring that from the first game we could set ourselves up very nicely. I have no doubt LSU beats USC if they played today.

I agree. As this season plays out, you can tell the defensive staff and players are becoming more cohesive with each game. You want to be playing your best ball at the end and it certainly looks like this teams best play is yet to come.

If he finishes this season 10-2 or better I’ll never say anything bad about him again

All the more reason not to schedule a tough opponent as the opener.

We start at Clemson next year, so unless we schedule a week zero game between now and then, it’s time to change up the Summer routine.
