Can’t find this song anywhere online. I remember the 45 rpm record being in convenience stores and played on Baton Radio AM station WLCS.

Does anyone have a link? Jim Lovelace was the writer and singer.

We have it on vinyl and CD at my parents' house. Hey Fighten' Tigers is the name of the release.

Yep it was on that album after the 45 was originally released weeks after the game. I found that link but when I clicked on it, the song wasn’t there. I see the 45 for sale on eBay too.

I think I still have the 45.

Looked for it recently on YouTube. No luck.

I searched and all that’s offered is a one second clip from every “Blue’s Clues”episode.

I like the songs. I have grown to appreciate vinyl as well. Knowing when the record would crack at certain points in the song. Every time you listened it felt a little different.

I was seated behind the Rebel's bench, a third of the way up, so a good view of what happened after the PAT was good: all the players were screaming, jumping up & down. When a few players started taking off their helmets & throwing into the hedges then surrounding the endzone, pretty much the whole team started tossing theirs. Can still see Coach Vaught standing dejectedly on the hash marks on the 20 yard line. BRPD had a hard time getting those players off the field & into the tunnel. That song has always resonated, still all these years.
