Just watched it. It's no wonder the season was a failure. From day one this was a mistake. CJJ had no control of this from the beginning. Best result was that we did not get hammered by the NCAA. Nice kid but would have rather him go elsewhere. I have doubts about how his family (and there are a lot of them) moved multiple times around the country and yet no one had a full time job. Wish him luck but will never think of him as a TIGER. 6 months and gone.

" I am not going to class next semester because I don't have to!".

" I am here to play not to go to school!"

I put in on for two minutes then couldn't bring myself to watch it. Going through last basketball season once was enough for me.

Agree. Glad Patrick left. Whole thing was sleezy. Felt like I was watching UK basketball.

He was the most hyped LSU athlete in over a decade. He came here and looked like he didn't care. He had no respect or drive to even attempt his acedemics. He was drafted one overall simply because of his size and potential, not what he produced on the court. Once he was gone he has slung mud at LSU and his time here.

I'm really having trouble wishing him well with his attitude. He's no ambassador for future recruits.

Require a 3 year minimum requirement to get into the NBA learn how to handle yourself in the real world and dont be a pussy bitch about it, and if you are then you aren't worthy, FOURNETTE IS DOUBLE OR MAYBE TRIPLE THE MAN SIMMONS WILL EVER BE, fournette knows his values and understands everything

Helps if you were a professional basketball player.

The median house price in Fitzroy Australia is 920,000 dollars U.S.
His parents are not short of cash.

His sister works for Clutch sports and is married to a ex NFL running back.

Considering they took Dave Patricks dying mother into their home and took care of her until she died, I don't think the parent morals can be questioned.

Look at this situation from everyone else's viewpoint who had to be Ben Simmons' teammates. It had be a horrible year dealing with a prima-dona like Simmons and trying to play basketball under those circumstances. It is obvious why things ended so poorly last year.

Believe it or not most of the LSU players are here for more than a year and they actually want their education. They actually go to class and view LSU as more than an unwanted yet required stop on their way to the NBA.

I hope LSU never again goes down the road with another 1 year wonder like Simmons who obviously never wanted to be here to begin with.

The NBA has ruined College Basketball and diluted the NBA into an unwatchable, crappy product just a notch above "professional" wrestling.

I feel sorry for the LSU team which had to put up with Ben Simmons, his entourage, and his attitude for the entire year and I feel sleazy after watching the Ben Simmons self-pity fest. Glad he is gone.

Ben is and was never a real Tiger.
He failed at "He came, he left, he dominated — and it wasn’t just hype." He did get the "he came and he left.." part right.

I completely agree. We'd have definitely been better without him. It makes me wonder how Calipari can handle the one and dones so well.

Simmons is one of the worst LSU representatives ever and really hope he stays away from our programs.

With his attitude and work ethic I doubt he succeeds at the next level. Time will tell.

I didn't watch the documentary, but after hearing things about Simmons .It seems he was the bigger part of the Lsu chemistry issues last year, while Quarterman and Johnny received most of the blame. I now have better expectation for the team this year that Simmons is gone
