Did anyone else see the catcher didn’t have it in his possession for the force? He sold it well.

Even worse, Home Plate Ump never got in place to actually see the play.

He definitely controlled it in time. But he didn’t at first

Yeah, he had it hid from the ump, it was close, but it also seemed like cranford, hesitated. Stevenson, didn’t, and that was huge….

There was a lot of selling this game. JJ is a top notch coach at having his guys selling ice to an Eskimo. His game within the game is very good.

Yeah, on the replay it definitely looked like the catcher used his second hand to control the ball late in the play at the plate.

However, even if LSU would have requested a review, the call on the field would have most probably stood being that it would then become a "bang-bang play" and determining the two variables of when the catcher actually controlled the ball with his foot on the plate and when Cranford actually touched the home plate would be damned near impossible. Darn, that pesky ole "indisputable" evidence hurdle needed to overturn a call on the field of play.
