The band not playing Tiger Rag is why this team is playing so poorly right now!
Les needs to hire you to play a recording of it after every time the other team scores to pump them up. That's exactly what they need.
I smell a Championship!
And I'm not going to bang my instrument on the damn bleachers. That thing's expensive! If the student section knew how to yell to actually make it loud in the stadium it wouldn't even be an issue.

more than anything it is frustrating that the band is as wine and cheese as the TAF people.
I laughed last year when Ole Miss threw food at the band. I was wishing I had a burger or some nachos to join in.

Dude, get a life! I guess you're just really mad that we don't play Tiger Rag anymore, but get over it. You killed it. And I guess you don't know this, but there are higher powers than the LSU band directors. Someone higher up told them to have us stop playing those songs. I'd love to play Tiger Rag, but the students killed it.

dude i don't curse so i never killed it, but i do think we have a right to free speech. you an't control what fans do to a song; ya'll need to cut neck since thousands of people are simulating oral sex on themselves everytime its played......much more offensive/inappropriate for children than some indistiguishable murmer of "a-holes" from across the stadium.
Living on a Prayer is great at the Varisty or Fred's but not in Tiger Stadium. We are LSU; we control our football destiny. We never live on a prayer. Can ya'll bring Green Onions back (since I'm talking to a band person)?
And seriously it was ya'lls best halftime performance I've seen in 8 years as a student....

Sorry, but it was loud as frick in that stadium. Yelling isn't going to win us football games when we are getting our arse kicked. Maybe in a close game it will, but not yesterday.
And y'all played a damn good half-time show. The best in recent times, for sure.

But I went to both Auburn and Florida this year, and no matter if it's artificial or not... I heard that Florida's crowd noise is, but I know that Auburn's wasn't pipped in. But anyways, both of those stadiums were louder than Tiger Stadium was on Saturday.
It really pains me to say it, but ol' TS really has lost a little of it's luster this year.

1. I didn't say beat the drums....I said band the instruments on the bleechers....just like stomping on them.
2. I'm pretty sure the band thinks we're a SWAC school since they play neck.

youtube neck and see the number of SWAC schools that play it compared to D-I. La Tech and LSU vs. Southern, Shaw, Howard, Alabama State, Grambling, NC A&T, Moorehouse, Clark, WSSU,& Norfolk St. at a glance. TB is embarrassing their tradition. Facts are facts.
