was surprised to learn he’s gone back to Ole Miss. I don’t know him but I’m guessing he just decided he wanted to finish school in Oxford and enjoy his last year. Can’t really blame him for that.
When Lane left, their coach wanted him because familiarity with his system. Chambliss was thought to be done. They offered 300k+ to go be insurance. He was gonna basically stop playing before that call came

I always presumed Auburn would offer him, since his father was the fkn MVP for them when we played them in '94.

And no, it wasn't a season ending injury. He played in ULL's 10/18 game and had playing time in a handful of other games as the back up.
He tore an oblique off the bone. Had season ending surgery. But, he would have tried to play.
Didnt work out.
Hes raking in 300k for watching at OM.

in the age of portal, its hard to keep depth, so guys like Howard who know they don't have a future playing, but still want to have fun in college, getting to go back to OM to sit on the bench seems like a good deal
He is probably going to be a GA after graduation and show up as an OC for some small school in a few years

He literally came back and played 10/18 and continued to play throughout the rest of the season. How could he have had a season ending surgery when he played in 5 games after the surgery?

Youre just a moron, making shite up. He was MVP of Sabans camp and had Bama offers, among many more, for 2 years
Kid sat at LSU behind a heisman guy, then Dart, then Chamblis.
It's ok Mr. Howard. Walker has had a pretty good go of it in college. We should all be so fortunate. He has gotten to watch a lot of SEC games from the sidelines, probably have a lot of fun in college, make some decent money being a 3rd string QB, and will always be the best there never was among those in Lafayette who just had some "tough luck" (over 5 years) that prevented him from being all conference.

Silly me- I forgot Chambliss was ineligible for a second
