Well, we got a USCe win, somehow.

LSU beat South Carolina too, there is no way this could possibly be bad for LSU. Ole Miss is still projected in and LSUs resume shits all over theirs even with a loss. The bubble is very weak. Not many teams with a shot to play themselves in.

Lunardi says OM still in the last 4 in. No way we fall pass them even with a loss tomorrow.

What a horrible game I just watched, but it was worth it. The last 5 seconds GOLD. Gold, Jerry, Gold.

The late games have been perfect for LSU so far in terms of bubble teams losing. Miami was a huge one (as well as Texas), Oklahoma St was big, Ole Miss could go either way but I'll take it.
Xavier isn't really on the bubble but Butler beating them would be nice. Their RPI is solid but a loss would put them at 19-13 and .500 in their conference with no notable out of conference wins. Actually I'm not sure how their RPI is so good looking at their schedule. They also lost to Auburn.

yeah, I tuned in again for the last 30 seconds. Wow. Horrendous. I posted this in another thread. LSU *has* to feel great now, win or lose tomorrow.

according to ESPN Bracketology...
Last 4 Byes:
LSU (first tourney game is tomorrow)
Ole Miss (lost!)
OkState (lost!)
Purdue (first tourney game is tomorrow)
Last 4 In:
Texas (lost!)
BYU (lost in final on Tue to Gonzaga)
Temple (first tourney game is tomorrow)
Indiana (won today; advances to quarter-finals)
First 4 Out:
Miami-FL (lost!)
ODU (lost!)
Tulsa (first tourney game is tomorrow)
A&M (lost!)
So, all in all, a very good tourney week for LSU so far.

I wonder if Murray St jumps a bunch of those teams now.

With all these bubble teams losing around us, we should be in no matter what. The only question now should be: Will we have to go to Dayton for a play-in game first? Beating Auburn will eliminate that possibility.

LOL @ UM can not be understated.
I saw that post.

LSU was IN before, but everything that has happened has made it so much easier.
Still want to beat AU and play UK.

Murray St Racers
CONF. W-L 16-0
RPI 67 vs. RPI TOP 25 0-0
NON-CONF. SOS 223 vs. RPI TOP 50 0-1
NON-CONF. RPI 181 vs. RPI TOP 100 1-2
SOS 256 vs. RPI TOP 150 4-4
vs. RPI SUB 150 21-1
It's pretty crappy but they ran through their conference and won 26 straight until their conf. tourney final. They're probably more "deserving" than say Texas.

So they have 1 top 100 RPI win and you think they have a chance? Asking.
Posted on 3/12/15 at 11:02 pm to drizztiger
Do I think they're in? no. But they're gonna get a little closer based on all the people in front of them losing today.

I think Murray State is out. As much as it pains me to say it, even sorry arse Texas has proven more at this point.

Lunardi is saying he still has Ole Mess and Texas in the field despite their losses today.
