Ole Miss took this personal

Ole Miss played with a chip on their shoulder all night and it definitely showed. This was personal for them. Chambliss had a career game and there just wasn't much we could do to slow him down. Their defense was also highly motivated to slow down Kiffin and Weiss. We walked into a buzzsaw. Chambliss might end up being the best QB we see this season. We will be fine. It's a long season. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

We slowed him down with multiple pressures and for some reason just stopped after the 3rd quarter? That’s on Baker

The demons and Angels got together and agreed that it was Ole Miss’s day. One of those games my friend. Hopefully next week they agree on us.

I think overall we are taking the loss pretty well because our fans are a little more knowledgeable of the sport than most and understand the long game. We have the luxury of watching three different coaches build championship teams and one almost do it twice. We know these things take time but my biggest takeaway from last night was that our team and coaches will never give up no matter how dire things look. That is a breathe of fresh air for this program.

We were wearing them down as the game progressed and DJ was very good

Sam missed some easy throws and our pass blocking wasn’t good at all.

Baker pressures Chambliss more and takes away those 7-10 yard cushions and this game would have been much different, IMO

Hell yeas they did. That didn’t look like a 2nd to last place SEC defense last night. They were ball hawks and tough. Got a little worn down in 4th qtr, but they played their a$$es off.

The question will be what do they look like next week when that emotion and chip is gone. Is it the first 2 weeks or sustain that
