Daughter, who reluctantly attends State,(she is an LSU fan who wore my vintage 1986 Final 4 sweat at the Dude when LSU visited earlier this year) wants watch LSU beat OM at the Box. Driving in Saturday.
Which seats have the worst Sun for Saturday game?
Parking recommendations?

Only out-of-sun seats would be covered Grandstand.

If you don't want those bleacher sections, try standing room only. Nice views and usually has a great breeze.

I recently parked in a field to the left of the ballpark if you are facing the gates looking at left field. It’s only a five minute walk. It was free. I also tailgated under some oaks across the street along Nicholson and then we walked over. There was a policeman at the light to help pedestrians cross. That was a nice free spot as well.

Agreed, SRO is greatly underrated imo. Have enjoyed plenty of last minute games there standing behind home plate.

RT field bleachers are the worst as far as the sun. The ticket office had some parking passes available earlier this week; not sure if they sold out.

I went to state too, 07-09. I was one of 3 yellow shirts in the Hump when Tasmin Mitchell dropped 41 and we won in either double or triple OT. Awesome night.

Also, had several classes with football players. One of them was All-SEC saftey Derek Pegues. I wore my coaches polo to class the Monday after we beat them in Baton Rouge in 08 (I went to the game) when he broke his arm. Him, Wes Carrol , and a lineman threatened to kick my arse and steal my bike after class
