it is so funny, because he isn't moving out of the way of anyone...he simply steps up squares himself and takes him out. i wonder if he can get in trouble for that?

I think it was just the officials giving us one back; He shielded the cover guy on the TE drag that went for 6 earlier in the game

ok seriously...i have watched it about 10 times in a row now. the ref shifts over into his path to take him down. i think that is one of the funniest things i have seen. but i can't help but think he is going to get in trouble for that. i can see little there to suggest he didn't do that on purpose for whatever reason...what could the league do to him for that?

Damn I thought it was just the ref defending himself during the game last night. This angle shows the dude being the aggressor. I must say last night we were all laughing about the Buffalo wild wings commercial when it happened. Now you have to wonder WTF??? Maybe he was filming the new BWW commercial.
Someone said this same ref picked Sheppard out of the TD by USC tight end earlier in the game. Not sure til I watch the replay on that.
