That was the game in TS in 2012. We're way past that now.
I think this year's game will be more important for CLM after everything that happened in November.

No way. Miles is 0-5 against Alabama since 2011. He was all but fired heading into the Texas A&M game. If Miles loses again...for the sixth time in a row, it'll solidify that that he is just another version of McClendon.

This as big a must win as there has ever been in program history IMO.

It becomes more of a must win every time we dont win the year before. Just like the presidential race.

I'm just tired of hearing this every year. Had we not choked away the last 2 home games, this wouldn't be talked about as biggest game ever.
Yeah but can Miles afford to lose to Saban in 2016? With his most experienced and talented team ever assembled, to lose to Saban who lost a ton of talent on offense and 4-5 top round guys on defense would seem like signaling the end. LSU in 2017 will be breaking in practically a whole new defense, new starting WRs, and Fournette will be gone. I think Guice will be incredible for us, but it won't be the same as having Fournette AND Guice running at you all game long.

He might not survive. But, do we just fire the next guy when he doesnt beat the best college football coach of our generation?
Honestly, that streak might go as long as saban is there. Doesn't matter who is on LSUs sidelines.

The next guy has nothing to do with Miles being fired for losing 6 times in a row vs the one big road block in the way to winning the division. Yes, it does seem unfair, but what do you do if the guy can't get the job done? Accept that we'll never play a good bowl game again or win the division until Saban is gone? Lay down and accept defeat? This gets guys fired all the time, and it should be no different in this situation just because the opponent is Saban and his Bama powerhouse.
Even Ole Miss (who is historically terrible against Alabama) has managed to beat them two in a row. Whether it be luck or whatever, it has happened, which means it is possible.
