The thing about bunting is, with proper focus, every kid on your team should be a capable bunter. I don't get it. The pros have abandoned the bunt also.
But hell, the best hitters in baseball are NOT going to get you a hit 70% of the time. A good bunter should be able to get the ball down at least 70% of his at bats.
If you need to move runners, it should be a no brainer.
It only gets complicated when you know you have NOT focused on your team bunting so, none of the frickers can bunt.

I should add that your hitters who you are NOT as confident in as hitters should practice bunting until they go blind.
The last thing you want is runners on the corners with your .210 hitter at the plate and you can't get the fricker to bunt.
