Ok.. Was gonna bow out.. But one last time.. There were only like 10-25 LSU fans along the bottom row of the upper deck.. They could not be heard except when the stadium was quite due to injuries.. When the injuries happened.. The students would sit down, pissed at our team.. And they would start their LSU chants.. Same page now?? Look.. It was an emotional game all around.. It was a big football game.. I am sure plenty of people showed their arse.. I just wanted to put out the other side of the story on why there was cheering during the injury timeouts..

I'm sitting here thinking.. And I did come up with a possible explanation.. Maybe this could have happened.. The LSU fans started off the chant in support of the players.. Some students flipped them off.. Then they started pointing back and doing all their other cheers in retaliation (spelling sucks I know)of the FEW rude students.. And the rest of the student section got pulled in.. So there is one possible situation.. That is not Bama biased :) But I can tell you everyone around me and everyone else I could see was not doing anything rude..

actually I believe that is when Al Woods was hit with a knee to the head and was not moving at all on the field.
obviously there had been LSU players dropping left and right but this is where it gets sick. if this is the video of Woods on the ground the Bama fans should be disgusted. he was NOT MOVING, he literally sat there unresponsive for about a minute before he kicked his leg. all you hear while Woods is down is a MASSIVE Bama cheer (much like the East/West side geaux tigers chant in the 4th quarter.) there is no room for this bushleague shite when you see the cart being readied to drive onto the field because the player looks like he is in serious condition.

After the first 20 or so timeouts for LSU injuries I think people just stopped giving a damn.

TigerJeux, You are so wrong, I certainly did not go away with a frown on my face, to the contrary I left all smiles. And yes, I did tell some of the LSU fans to have a safe trip home and that LSU played a great game. The LSU fans we were around were very nice and said they had enjoyed being in Tuscaloosa and the game. And you talk about nastiness, I do not use profanity, I am a born again christian, I put God first, football is much further down the list- And you know what? I am still smiling and proud to say Roll Tide, Roll!!!!

Not sure if this is legit but I expected no better.

Lindalouise, you represent the minority, and you misread my post. Go back and re-read it. I said that a sore winner is worse than a sore loser. One should be happy and walk away thanking the losing team for a good game, not getting in people's faces, screaming at children, and other negative remarks like we witnessed in Tuscaloosa. These are the actions of "sore winners".
Luckily, I was fortunate enough to have spent all of my time up there with my friends from Bama who also fit in that minority. Best group of people I've ever met.

There are good fans and not so good fans with every team. We all need to move on. Hope you win all your remaining games.

Thanks, and for the record.....I sincerely hope and pray that neither Bama nor Ole Miss ever win so much as a game of marbles, ever.
God knows my heart in this matter, so I really do not have to pray about it.

When any player is down on the field at Tiger Stadium, it is quiet until the person gets up and then everyone claps for him getting up. That is good sportsmanship. What I saw was just rude.
Incorrect, on two separate occasions this year, LSU fans have played and cheered several beach balls when players were down, adding to the problem when the police confiscated the balls, the fans booed, while the player was still down.

I was sitting right above the students, on the very first row. I could see the faces of the students. Hell I could see down the tops of the hotties sitting right below me. Being this close, I could read lips and see expressions. There was VILENESS in their faces. It's almost as if by us cheering on our own player to get up, we had killed your dog in your eyes. Students yelling "F-You" and "S*ck my C**k, flipping the bird and grabbing their crotch.
POST OF THE YEAR!!!
I can't believe you want people to believe that you could both read lips and hear words from the student section while you were in the uppedeck. You are a liar.

Maybe they were clapping because someone brought up Bear Bryant for the 2,675,333 time that day...
i think i've seen a church developed under the teachings of Jesus reborn in a houndstooth cap.
How many kids in bama are named bear? There are some people we hunt with and i swear one of them brings up bear in EVERY conversation I have ever had with him...
bear... umm food... for thought

The only time Alabama fans booed an injury was when T-Bob faked one. They might have been chanting Roll Tide and ALA-BAMA during other injuries, but yes, that was in response to LSU fans chanting.
T-Bob might have tweaked an ankle, but he was going to just trot off to the sideline, and you could see him start to. Until he was told to stay down so the clock would stop. Everyone in the stadium saw that and let him have it. It was a bushleague play and quite honestly embarrassing, considering the fact that there were LSU players going down often with real injuries earlier in the game.

Dude, I was on the first row. There were people below me only 15 yards down. It's not hard to read lips, especially when they are vulgar. And it wasnt hard to hear them when they are facing you. I could hear the cheerleaders when they'd put up their cones to yell, and they were 40-50 yards away.

I was at the game, directly across from the student section. LSU started their cheer, and Alabama came right back...was it bad timing? Sure. BUT I will say that I had about 3 rows of the most evil people I have ever come across. I thought I hated Ole Miss and Auburn fans...they have nothing on the people I sat by. I am no where near saying that all Alabama fans are this way, in fact our tickets came from a family friend with extra season tickets to the game and he said it was the same thing every game. The people that were around us cheered every single time someone was hurt. If I was to hear "break his neck" one more time, I may have gone postal. To hear "yay, Jarrett Lee is in! He's nothing but a p***y!" come from a child no older than 10-12 years old, and his father give him a high five, was too much for me. I know that there are fans like this everywhere, and I am not about to think that we don't have a few of our own. Geez Louise people, just have some respect.
